Strait Construction completed the exterior remediation and refurbishments to the façade of this apartments complex. Scaffolding was erected and wrapped to weatherproof the façade. Previously identified asbestos was removed and relevant clean site certification issued to allow contract work to proceed. Demolition of cladding and window removal allowed all framing to be inspected by the building surveyor. Required framing was replaced and remaining framing was treated then insulation installed. New window units with glass installed, canopy renovation, and the new vertical cladding was installed over the cavity system. The last phases of the project included making good interior surfaces then interior and exterior painting. The clients were highly satisfied with the Straits communication during the project and the valuable and marketable assets they obtained after completion.
